got a referral here and am so happy to learn from seasoned fish lovers and aquarium enthusiasts! i have 3 dogs,2 hermit crabs, and one huge plecostamous that's about 18 inches long ("Mr.Peaco")

i am looking for fish that he'll not eat as he is so big. he's in a 55 gallon right now, sooon to be in a 75 gallon.

i am an artist and miniaturist , 1 inch scale.more later yall!

As far as what will go with him...

anything that stays pretty small as the tank in almost full with him alone.

I agree with KKD, that's already a lot of fish for a 55 (and even a 75), so I'd also recommend something small, say some tetras or guppies.

Oh and plecos eat algae, not other fish :D

Big plecos will eat whatever gets in their mouths....

Basically if someone gets in his way he would gulp them...

i saw one online that was...no exaggerating...3 feet long! the guy had it in both arms like some kind of atomic catfish or somethin!

i'll be getting a 75 gallon from my friends at the end of my street so he'll be going into that soon. i'm trying to work out a deal to get him a grrlfriend named Molly, even if it is under the table so to speak...heee heee!

can somebody help me find where to post a question on pothos ivy and it's safety in the tank with Mr.Peaco? he eats zucchini whole,rind and all!
i read one post but it never just came out and said if pothos is pleco safe or not...

i have some mammoth houseplants that i'd love to incorporate in the fish room somehow.

I had jaws in a 100 gallon after he outgrew the 55....and the 100 didn't last long. jaws now has enough room in the 300 I got him. good luck on the switch to the 75...but I don't think its going to be big enough.
