I used to keep peacock gudgeons and I found lots of info online about how to breed them. Maybe your fish have similar needs?

i looked and the best i could find on them was fish base. these arent a very common fish....

yeah, i searched using their latin name but it was pretty much the same stuff. also tried their common name (yellow stripe goby) and it yielded the same result...

I found a couple of references saying the male guards the eggs & the fry will stay around the male for awhile. The female doesn't do anything. Good luck!

People say research but if you read enough there are so many conflicting "facts" Maybe you can do your own research for what you find and what works, it could be helpful fo someone else. best of luck!

good to hear you got all the fish out and you still have the eggs. hope they hatch....

With many gobies/gudgeons the male needs to stay with the eggs until they hatch so he can make sure they are getting enough water movement to prevent fungus. The male won't try to eat them until they're free-swimming. If you removed the male I'd recommend putting an airstone near the eggs to keep them healthy.

i think she left the male in there, hopefully. she said she took out all the "other" fish, so i am guessing the male is still left with the eggs ;)
