Does anyone know if any LFS in the area carry "Jack Wattley Discus Formula - Cubes"?

Got some the other day and tried it out. The older Discus I have hated it and would not eat it. The fry I got from you didn't like it much either but in the end they ate it. This is the second Ocean Nutrition frozen food I have tried the other being the formula one and none of my fish care for it at all. The cubes are solid spongey masses that the fish have a hard time getting any food off of.

I tried this food before. My discus eat them but not all the food, the sponges thing just wasted away. If you want to mix your self, try sea food recipe from the guy in Simply Discus forum.

I am using Ocean Nutrition Discus formula frozen cubes. My juvies LOVE it. They will eat it out of my hand. I cut each cube into 6 pieces so I don't end up having to clean a bunch of it out after they are done.

I also feed Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef flakes and Omega One Marine flakes. They prefer the reef flakes, but eat them both.

I have a bunch of Ocean Nutrition frozen blood worms that they won't touch. I also tried NLS small fish formula 0.5mm pellets, since I couldn't find the growth formula at the time, but they don't like it either.

I plan to make some beef heart mixes to see which one, if any, they like. For being cichlids they sure are particular about what they eat.

If they like flakes, try Ken's beef heart and black worm flake. My aldult and juvies all like flakes.
