Today we were at Pet Botique in Garland and they had a Pignose Puffer. It looks to be full grown. I think we should get it but Christine says no....

Kinda cool fish.

I know... I've been warned... The only reason I see not to get the fish is if it costs more than your house payment. Mr. B will do all the cleaning and cooking if you just get the piggy nose puffer. He promises.... :hehe:

I'd say "NO" on the puffer- reach out to Boxermom and ask her what she thinks of them. They're fairly passive and spend most of their tome hiding- you don't want that...IMO.

He was sitting with his face in the corner behind the filter so you couldn't see his face. Blake was tapping on the glass by his face but we couldn't get him to move. I told blake he looked dead...

He was sad that he hasn't found a home yet. How would you feel seeing all those "cute" and "colorful" fish on their way to loving homes while you're stuck in a pet store tank??? Kinda like the last one picked for the team. Brings a tear to my eye...

It's a large fish that will probably need it's OWN :spend:tank because it will eat any other fish we own. I don't get the whole tank for one fish thing :confuzeld:(sorry Chris lol). We already have too many tanks as it is :twitch: ! And could you imagine the cost of feeding him :wha: !! I'm sorry, I hear enough horror stories from chris about Peanut :spend:!! We barely have enough money to feed ourselves because our dog and cats eat better then we do...:broke:...I'll be d@mned if a fish eats better then us too :flipa: ...

our fugu puffer used to do that too. That part was neat- but staying like that for 12 hrs at a time- not so neat.

We have one of those.... she comes out to eat and to bug you to pet her when you go to bed....totally worthless creature.....

I thought that too, I wondered how long they'd stay buried...

I have read they stay buried a lot.... that is why it does not need a big tank....

Actually I think I said it before everything has a price…. And everyone is a customer…. And everyone thinks their crap is wroth more then it really is.

That being said sure but I am pretty sure for most people my prices are too high and I am not really trying to sell anything.

I think I will get down to 3-5 tanks, for the most part I do not really feel like I am getting much out of a couple of my tanks because they are not in the main part of the house. After that I will have extras for either grow outs or hospital tanks.
