The Fronts were the last bunch before the livebearers we have now. Junior, however, was raised with all the fish pictured below him.

This would be Junior in both pics. He was the pride and joy but we had to trade him and his four younger tankmates in. First because we had one female and four males and couldn't afford to get a good sized female for him, second because the 100g was getting too small. I wish I knew who got him...

Jewel...one minute pale and the next BAM!...bright red.

Glory...the most colorful cichlid I thought there ever was. Still don't know what it was.

My two crowning glories...

This is Mondo the TriMac. Some of you might remember reading about Mondo in distant lands. She (I honestly don't know but 'it' acted like a girl, lol) was one of my two favorites. Sorry this pic is blurry, I didn't have the digital until after she passed so this is a pic of a pic. I loved her eyes...bright red and almost puppy like. She was pretty big by my standards but not by TriMac standards, I'm sure.

B.B the Bumblebee...my other favorite and Mondo's truest friend. B.B stayed pitch black after Mondo died and I thought that if we didn't change her scenery soon, that she'd die soon afterward. She mourned like I've never seen. I traded her in to a store that shall remain nameless, and she died within the week. She was stuffed into a small (10g?) display by herself. B.B. was a large fish at about 7 lbs and 9½ inches long. It still makes me tear up...don't laugh.

There were pairs of Ruby Zebras, Yellow Labs and at one time, a pair of Cobalt Zebras. Everybody, size aside, got along great until somebody tried to take over Mondo and B.B's hideyhole that they shared. I wanted to share pics of my Blue (Electric?) Haps too but all the pics of their pics came out bad.

WOW Misty, I thought you were always a livebearer keeper. I didn't know you once was into cichlids.

Those are some awesome pictures. Those first two (of Junior) are great! And the rest look amazing as well!!!

I curtainly hope you're not expecting additional cichlid pictures from her because we'd have to set you in the corner with the rest of 'em.
