It's watching someone try to check that provides the entertainment value.

Things are very busy, what with kids, hubby, fish, and a stress pit of a job. The tanks are thriving - 25g community, 10g danios, 2 betta tanks (one mine, one my daughters). Getting ready to help my son build a tank around a red-tail shark that he's wanting.

Nice to talk to so many familiar names again!

Clearly I must choose my words carefully here (though compared to "fish nuts......"). How about "start up a tank", or "create an aquatic environment"? He's got a thing for red-tail sharks. I found him a used tank on the cheap, just needs a bit of cleanup.
