I love that cartoon!
Remember back at the beginning of the summer, when we met at Starbucks and you gave me two little sprigs of plant for the Dainichi so I could try my hand at live plants?
I just thought I'd show the progress, but you have to ignore the streaks on the glass. The one on the left is about 10" at the highest tip and it spans about 8". It was in the front corner and it got alot of natural sunlight so it's a bit bigger than the other, not by much but it does have a lot more leaves.

I know they're easy plants but still...I knew nothing about them then!
Right at the bottom, is a baby from the Java Fern I bought from you a while back. I have about 20 of those planted around the tank. I still have the big one but it's not as pretty as it was and I'm not sure why. It is still sprouting little ones though...a lot of them! I just plucked it two weeks ago and there's already more ready. It took me forever before I realized that I was supposed to pull those off, lol. Maybe that's why it looks tired...:o
I, and the fish, truly appreciate it! Because these have done so well I've moved on to a planted 20g and I hope to have the 100g planted some day.
