My Rasbora's Spawned Yesterday...

but I was totally surprised and was not expecting them to spawn. I caught the tail end of the spawning so I was unable to save any of the eggs from the hungry guppy mouths...lol I will be ready next time!

yea, i think they were laying them on my sword plant, because all of the guppies were pecking at the leaves and the rasbora's were staying close to the sword. I would see the rasbora's dancing beside eachother but no eggs were coming out, so that's when they were finishing up spawning. I also noticed some of the females egg deposit thingy...haha forgot what it was called...were protruding out of them.

Woohoo! Grats!

- I turned around to watch my fish here at work the other day just in time to see my Turquoise Rainbows do a spawning run ... with the Angels following closely and eating all the eggs! :eek:

hey, congrats to you too. it seems like everyone's fish are spawning right now. my neighbor's cichlids just spawned too...:D

yeah, i am on summer schedule so if anything spawns it will have to be after 12 noon and before 2 am :)
