Ok I set up my 55g tank with a bubble wall in the back, but i have 2 HOB filters and was wandering how to divert the bubbles from going up the intake valve because it is so loud

any ideas please:confused:

please help :confused:

What I would to is tape around the tube/airstone where the intake is on top.

My $0.02.

put a rock over the bubble wall placed proper to divert the bubbles out toward the front of the tank and away from the filter intakes.

i tried that with huge river rocks and the bubbles would move them out of the way

I don't have a problem with my HOB filter. And I think it'd look like crap to split the bubbles for the intake. Perhaps move the wall forward o f the intake? It doesn't have to go up along the wall- right?

Sure it is an air pump or is it an air compresser?

I would leave it as it is and just wear earplugs. :brandy:

Maybe slip a small section of pvc pipe or hose over the section you nee to divert?

if your going to dig it up... you might as well just move it out...

I agree the gap in bubbles wouldn't look right IMHO...
